Not a regular visitor.

While putting the clothes out for drying in the balcony, my eyes ran through the old empty building in front. Usually, crowded with Pigeons, I noticed a bird that was sitting majestically with the wind ruffling the feathers like a lion's mane. It was a beautiful Pariah Kite, sitting patiently, unperturbed by the pigeons around. He was calm, solemn and watchful around his head. I took a few photographs of him and how I wish, I had a telephoto lens to capture the magnificent details of its feather, claws, pointing eyes and the arching beak. While the pigeons kept shuffling around on windows, he was firm
and established on his watch. Thanks to Hazel for the information on kite species.

  1. It's good- the kite perched upon the balcony-railing of that unoccupied building. Wonder what's going on in its mind.
however, have that telephoto lens to enhance your shoots .
